In the first in-person City Council meeting in 14 months, the inaugural class of the City in Orem Women in Leadership scholarship winners were honored. HR Manager Keri Rugg recognized each recipient individually and shared a little bit how the scholarship would impact each winner. Even the most callous hearts in the room were touched to the core as dreams, goals, struggles, and hopes were shared with the standing-room-only crowd at the meeting. The audience burst into enthusiastic applause after each recipient was spotlighted.
We all will be cheering these ladies on in their quest. The future is bright!
