One of the great keys to happiness in life is to focus on the things you have and not on the things you don’t have. Here at the City of Orem we have a lot, but what we don’t have, we make up for in Nathans.
There are an estimated 209,984 people with the name Nathan in the United States and 9 of them work right here at the good ole C. of O. Now before you dismiss this factoid as insignificant, take a second to appreciate that we have 99.8% more Nathans then you would statistically expect to have in an organization our size.
The name Nathan comes from the Hebrew “Natan” which means “he gave.” Nothing could be more fitting when you think of our 9 Nathans and what they bring to the City of Orem.
