You’ll need all the luck you can get to beat last year’s employee bowling tournament champ Mike Johnsson.
St. Patrick’s Day just feels like a good day to go bowling with your good pals from the City of Orem. This year we’ll be hosting the 1st annual Lucky Strike Employee Bowling Tournament at Miracle Bowl on March 17th at 11:30 a.m. There will be both team and individual prizes, achievements, and chances to test your luck.
Due to COVID protocols at the bowling alley, we’re only able to have 50 employees at this event. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis. Anyone who signs up after the 50th employee, will be placed on a waiting list and added in if there are cancellations. If you find that you can’t attend the event, please be sure to let the bowling commissioner know ASAP.
This year there will be a team element to the tournament. Teams will consist of 4 people and will be loosely assigned at the event. You do not have to form a team prior to registration or the event.
Another new thing is there will be pizza and drinks provided for lunch so you can eat while you bowl in true St. Patty’s Day fashion.
There will be lots of ways to win and lose so don’t think you’re out of the running just because you suck at bowling. In past years, some of the absolute worst bowlers have won big.
Be sure to wear as much green as possible as judges will be awarding “style” points.
Masks will be required.
