The Orem Women in Leadership Scholarship program began in 2021. Since that time, 22 future female leaders have been awarded scholarships. Of those awardees, nine have been promoted within the organization since receiving the scholarship. These numbers show that we are moving the effort to uplift those around us.We believe that empowering women to take on leadership roles is essential for the growth and success of our community and organization. With this in mind, we have curated a program that is designed to equip attendees with the necessary tools and knowledge to enhance their leadership capabilities. We are confident that this event will be an invaluable resource for women and male allies who are seeking to make a positive impact in their personal and professional lives.
With that in mind, we are pleased to present the opportunity for you to join the Learning to Lead – Lunch and Learn Series. This will be an ongoing quarterly meeting where all city employees are invited to attend and learn about several topics including; male allyship, self-advocacy, resilience, setting healthy work boundaries, social and personal growth, reading between the lines, and more.
