There were lots of new faces at the Pay Day Pickleball Tournament but it was a couple of old faces that took home the top honor. Justin Skillings and Ben Petersen are now officially 4-time pickleball champs. Justin and Ben mowed through the competition and took the championship with an undefeated record. A few pairs were able to take a point here or there from them, which felt like a small victory in and of itself, but ultimately it was to no avail. These two are an unstoppable force of nature.
Justin told a crowd of onlookers that the only way to stop him is to buy out his final three years so that he can retire early. A GoFundMe will be sent around soon so we can get this guy into a well-deserved early retirement.
