This past week we lost one of the most dynamic and positive volunteers in City of Orem history. Kay Bradford passed away at age 98 and is already greatly missed.
Kay was a pillar of the Orem Senior Friendship Center and served for many years on our Senior Citizen Advisory Committee. Her reports to the City Council were legendary. Here’s one from 2015 so you can see what we mean: youtube.com/watch?v=IMKCi5ybLl4
She had such an impact for good in the community. She was an inspiration. She was a light.
Kay may be gone but you’ll still see her around town. There’s a big and beautiful photo of Kay on the back of our Senior Center bus so be sure to wave because Kay, in her never-failing way, will be waving to you, inviting you to put some bling in the golden years.
