The Essential Nature of What We Do

Our jobs here at the City of Orem are essential for the physical, emotional, mental, and social well-being of the public. As a full-service City, we have such a wide variety of ways in which we provide needed support to each of these aspects of our community’s healthy living standards. As we begin to “dial-up” our physical presence in and around the City, let’s remember what makes our jobs more meaningful and impactful—the fact that we are on the frontlines of providing critical public service and infrastructure. Take the time to list to yourself how your particular job and workgroup is part of providing something that we simply can’t do without (it won’t take you long to have a growing list). We may be forced from time to time to adjust and pivot how we provide these services, but we will always be depended upon to continue to Build a Better Orem.
