G Suite Tips for Better File Sharing

Have you used the Share feature yet? Easily send links to share documents with G Suite – instead of sending emails with attachments.
Here are a few ways to use sharing to collaborate more productively. How to use sharing depends on what you want to share, to whom, and for how long.

Tips for using permission types
● View:Β Lets you share your presentation or document with those who simply need to see it and not make any changes. View is good for sales pitches, estimates, invoices, product brochures, and more
● Comment:Β Allows you to get input from your team or other reviewers. They can add comments, but can’t edit the content
● Edit:Β Gives permission to a person or a group to contribute or edit a presentation, content, or spreadsheet that you’re working on together

Flexible sharing limits
● Adjust when you share whether people can download or pass along a file, set the amount of time they have access to a file, and even revoke access

Share with teams inside – and outside – of your organization●Share a document, or set up a shared Drive for internal or external teams or individuals – and remove access when it’s no longer needed
