Christie Nuttall Rides Off into the Sunset

Thank You Christie Nuttall
By Charlene Crozier
After 26 years with the City of Orem, Christie Nuttall is retiring on January 30. Christie worked for the Police Department, Legal Services, and Development Services before joining the staff of the Library. For the past seven years, Christie has been an excellent addition to the Orem Public Library. Serving as an Associate Librarian, Christie has supervised the shelving staff and volunteer program. She has also worked directly with patrons at both the reference and circulation desks.
Christie is one of the friendliest people that you will ever meet. She has a smile for everyone. Christie tackles a challenge head-on, and she isn’t afraid to talk to anyone, even if the conversation to be had is a tough one. Christie has been a caring and committed supervisor to our shelving pages. She is constantly checking in with her staff to see what they need, and she always makes sure that they have the ability to take advantage of opportunities offered to them for both training and fun.
Christie is an outdoor enthusiast, and we hope that her retirement lets her enjoy more time in the fresh air and sunshine. Best wishes, Christie, thank you for your service to the citizens of Orem.
